Reaching out to African geniuses
Reaching out to African geniuses
My conversation with a friend (from the Northern part of Nigeria, Maiduguri to be precise) on how the terrorist group called Boko Haram recruits its members. He shared some heartbreaking stories of how this sect live with the people, help them, interact with them in their day-to-day activities but with a mission to misinform their young ones under the canopy of religion. They are so intentional that they got to the point of kidnapping them in hundreds. Why the children? That was the question in my heart. If we are to catch them young, what are we giving to them? Are we raising the future solution providers or terrorists in disguise. It’s so sad that our own children are misinformed to kill us. The difference in the result we get is the quality of information we expose our children to.
